Hi tplewa . I tested your "product" today . First write my old flash with bootloader and all memory . When I have recorded old setting i write new firmware and reebot modem. I have opened next administrator panel . Firmware is very good on truth . There it is a lot useful option . It is of use for particularly telnet and config file ISP who is possible write and edition ( If it is necessary ).I had some trouble with exclusion BPI but as I have advised ....I have used downgrade BPI + and when I had already BPI - turn off this sheet and begin acting .Maximum transfer that after editing of tftp server file is 15Mb/sek-download and 2,5Mb/sek -upload. not bad though i have put 30Mb/sek -download and 20Mb/sek -upload .I think my ISP has some global bandwith . pozdrawiam mam nadzieję że coś ktoś z tego zrozumie he he

Hello tplewa
First of all, your firmware is amazing. I really like it. But I had some problem with it. I installed your firmware today and I couldn't make it work with any custom configs(ex":d11_m_na_c05), it always go back to the original firmware. I tried the CopyTftp("ISP_TFTP_IP","configname","PC_IP_ADDRESS") with tftp32 on and config in directory-, command and the other ways, but won't work. In the end I can connect but won't download faster then regular comcast speed. It's says that I downloaded the custom config but it will work like regular config.
With the a older firmware it will work the config d11's.
Can you help me out?
Thank you

Bandwidth request failure! Status = 0 Bandwidth request failure! Status = 0 Bandwidth request failure! Status = 0 Bandwidth request failure! Status = 0 Bandwidth request failure! Status = 0 Bandwidth request failure! Status = 0
Extracted from another forum: Bandwidth request failure can happen from the mac being blocked at the CMTS/node, the modem running a config that has been modified or has a QOS setting that is not setup in that node/CMTS. It can also happen when the modem is running too fast a speed and the node is trying to slow it down to balance the available bandwidth with other modems on the line.

What problems are you facing? Getting on with Comcast and d1.1 could never be easier. Just flash, force a good config, and change your DNS settings. You can find a decent tutorial on that here: http://www.sbhacker.net/forum/COMCAST-TUTORIAL-SB5-t3580.html

HFC Mac and Serial match the information that is stored in the modem's unique certificates.
I came from an area that had suddenlink and had to change my MAC at the time. I tried just changing it back, but it still gives cvc errors and what not. How do I view the modem's certificate to change my MAC to what that is showing? Thanks!

Good firmware!! Tested on a TCM390 (DCM315) and works good.
Only one thing: I use autoboot feature with an edited config file. It works (public IP, surfing google....), but a few hours later the ehternet card lose the public IP and I can't go online. The cm seems to be connected (leds OK), but no valid public IP.

First many thanks for that great firmware! It's much better than Sigma!!!
A feature I would like to have is to change the BPI2 RSA public key and the BPI2 X509 cable modem certificate.
I can sniff the BPI2 keys without problem, but don't know how to change them easyly... I try to clone the modem, I have everything MACs, Serial no, and the keys.
Again Thanks a lot and keep on with that firmware!
To speed up the cable is no problem as I can easaly sniff other configuration files.
But as I have canceled my cable internet (I don't need the cable internet anymore as I have VDSL (22MBit down/1MB up)), I want to clone my modem with an other MAC...

Feature suggestion:
To be able to force the dhcp server to give the ethernet card the IP you want. That would allow you to make snmp scans from a certain allowed IP range.

Hi all, this is really just a feature sugestion i'd like to make because although I really like the look and feel of your firmware I believe that this is a feature that will be really useful as I can't get my sb5100 to lock onto the frequency! So my sugestion is to make a frequency up&down feature that you can enter the frequency's manually instead of letting the modem search itself. I also recon that a ip force feature would be a great idea especially for us in areas that can only use the ip that's given to us by the CC. Thanks and great work Telpa, keep it coming and I can't wait to see the Final version when it's done with beta testing.
