Hi  , I have just bought a SB5100 from this forum .
Its been connected and the mac address cloned and it goes onto the web but has awful problems loading the pages and has lots of 404 errors, when it was connecting to a page, my download speed has halfed.
I am with charter on a 10meg / 1meg connection using a Scientific Atlanta 2100 - is there any other setting that the SB5100 may requre to use with my ISP.

signal to noise 38db

down power level -4dbmv

up power level 48dbmv

Those levels are within acceptable limits, are you connected straight into the modem, and is the modem rebooting or just timing out?

Hi, I am connected through a WRT54g v8 router with the latest dd-wrt firmware, It is now disconnecting frequently and the ONLINE light is flashing on and off, I use skype a lot and it disconnects and restarts. I dont have any problems with the Scientific atlanta DPC2100R2, but wanted my own router so I bought this unit from you.  Regards.
